Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect what we need to run the app, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

  • Your name and email address (from your Google account)
  • A profile picture URL (from your Google account)

When you use the app, we store:

  • Habits, goals, tasks, and sprints you create
  • Completion records and streak data
  • App preferences (theme, sprint settings, etc.)

What we don't collect

  • We don't track you across other websites
  • We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics
  • We don't sell or share your data with anyone

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to make the app work — displaying your habits, computing streaks, powering the AI features, and so on. We don't use your personal data to train AI models.

AI features and Anthropic

When you use AI coaching features, messages you send are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic has its own privacy policy governing how they handle API data. We don't store the content of your AI conversations beyond what's needed to display them in the app.

Data storage

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase in the US. We use standard security practices to protect it. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions.

Your rights

You can:

  • Request a copy of your data
  • Ask us to delete your account and all associated data
  • Update your profile information by editing your Google account

To make any of these requests, email us at contact@derot.you.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. That's it. No tracking cookies, no ad pixels.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
